Pre & Postnatal Transformation

I was 6 months pregnant when I signed up for a 6 month program with Infinity Health Coaching. My goal was to have a healthy pregnancy and a good recovery. The program undoubtedly exceeded my expectations.

Shauna created a program for me that enhanced my energy, sleep, flexibility, balance, and physical and mental strength, just to mention a few prenatal benefits. We focused heavily on nutrition and lifestyle habits in the first 3 months.

Then, my healthy little girl arrived safely. Recovery was smooth and a lot faster than I had experienced before with my first child. My new eating habits stabilized my energy level and kept me mentally strong through the first postnatal months. I was amazed at how much of an impact the prenatal strength training had on my recovery.

After a 3 month break, the sessions with Shauna continued which turned out to be a welcome change in my postpartum routine. Meeting daily movement or workout goals gave me a sense of satisfaction and lifted my mood during a sleep deprived and mentally challenging time. Having gone through the pre and postnatal journey herself, Shauna shared workout ideas that included both my kids! Exercise often became filled with laughter, noting that my baby had her first giggles while I was doing squats, holding her facing my toddler who did her version of jumping jacks in front of us.

Six months after giving birth, I am at my pre-pregnancy weight and stronger than before I got pregnant! What started to be “just” a program has become a lifestyle. I will be forever grateful for this pain-free, non-starving, uplifting and life changing experience!
